PET POLICY
Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at Desert Gem. If your dog shows behavior that is unfriendly or aggressive to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
Pet rules unique to the individual will be addressed at time of reservation or registration. We encourage all pet owners to call in advance to inquire about availability for you and your pet.
All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owner at all times. A leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owners trailer or motorhome. No dog shall be tied up and left unattended outside the owners camping equipment.
Allowing your dog to bark uncontrollably day or night or other annoying barking will not be permitted and you will be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pets barking behavior.
Service dogs are always welcome at Desert Gem. However, these animals must follow leash restraint policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.
Pet owners are responsible for picking up animals waste IMMEDIATELY, this includes the desert area West of the park.
Pets are not permitted in or tied up at the restrooms, showers, at our campfire gatherings, or in any buildings.
